EWB-USA grew from little more than a handful of members in 2002 to over 12,000 today. EWB-USA's projects originate from the communities themselves. This involves the community and increases the likelihood of success with the support of the community. Each project starts with an assessment trip to the community. As time goes on continued assessment, implementation, training, and monitoring of the project will occur.
